A Most Violent Year Boasts A New Slick Trailer

A new full-length trailer for J.C. Chandor’s drama, A Most Violent Year, starring Jessica Chastain and Oscar Isaac has landed. 

Set in New York’s winter of 1981, it’s the cities most dangerous and crime ridden year. Abel Morales (Isaac) and his wife, Anna (Chastain), are an ambitious couple who try desperately to protect their family as the sinister crime scene infiltrates their business and daily life. 

Thus follows a dark and twisted tale of betrayal, violence, decay and corruption, that will push the Morales to their limits. 

Also written by Chandor, the film has already received rave reviews on the festival circuit, with award buzz already floating around.

Also starring David Oyelowo, Albert Brooks and Alessandro Nivola, A Most Violent Year will open in the UK on January 23rd 2015.
