Audiences have been spoilt and teased by the long-length movie trailer.

The first generous-sized, full-length trailer for big-budget monster movie remake GODZILLA has hit the web, which teases the audience with a spectacular vision of a world in chaos but keeps under wraps the one thing film lovers are wanting to see – the titular giant lizard, serving up only fleeting glimpses of the gigantic creature.

The promo for Gareth Edwards’ GODZILLA sees the British film-maker benefitting from a spectacular $160m (£96m) budget for what is only his second feature film. The director’s first calling card to Hollywood was the ultra low-budget 2010 science fiction romance MONSTERS, for which Edwards created all the special effects himself, using off-the-shelf equipment.

BREAKING BAD star, Bryan Cranston’s physicist character (Joe Brody) is convinced there is something unseemly going on ‘out there’ and his fellow co-stars Aaron Taylor-Johnson and Elizabeth Olsen also make appearances in the monster film.

Looking forward to the film?  The movie hits the big screen on May 16th.  Enjoy the trailer:
