On Saturday evening, the biopic everyone has been talking about, THE PROGRAM took centre stage at the BFI London Film Festival.Â
Stephen Frears delivers a kinetic tale of cyclist Lance Armstrong’s inexorable rise to near canonisation and his subsequent vertiginous fall from grace.
Ben Foster is sublime in the leading role as Armstrong alongside Chris O’Dowd who plays David Walsh, who refused to back down on his belief that the world class athlete was a cheat and part of one of the greatest scandals in sporting history.
