The French actress, who is known for her role in the Cannes prize winning BLUE IS THE WARMEST COLOUR, will take on the femme fatale role in James Bond’s latest outing after signing on the dotted line in the new 007 adventure, which starts filming in six weeks.
In the 24th edition of the spy saga, she will star alongside Daniel Craig, Ralph Fiennes, Ben Whishaw and Naomie Harris for a script read-through next month.
The 29-year-old is no stranger to action films after having stints in MISSION: IMPOSSIBLE – GHOST PROTOCOL, Quentin Tarantino‘s INGLOURIOUS BASTERDS and THE GRAND BUDAPEST HOTEL.
Sam Mendes is set to return as the direct in the second part of SKYFALL’s story.
Seydoux is also due to star in dystopian drama THE LOBSTER from Greek director Yorgos Lanthimos.
BOND 24 is scheduled to release on October 23rd, 2015 in the UK and November 6th, 2015 in the US.
