Hello everybody,

I just wanted to wish you all a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!  I hope that during the festive season, you have not just been filling yourselves with just festive food and drinks, but also with popcorn, whilst enjoying the latest blockbuster films and fantastic TV programmes too.

A lovely holiday was had in Dublin with two of my best friends.
A lovely holiday was had in Dublin with two of my best friends.

I have enjoyed a lovely trip to Dublin, Ireland with my friends and it was so much fun, a fabulous city I would recommend everyone to visit.  There was no time to take in any movies unfortunately, but lots of lovely food was eaten and laughs aplenty with my lovely friends who flew over from Spain especially.

Upon my return back home to England, I have spent many of my days enjoying a variety of films at the cinema.  I thoroughly enjoyed Thor 2: The Dark World and of course my most anticipated film of the year – The Hobbit 2: The Desolation of Smaug.

My eldest niece, Nya, absolutely loved the film “Frozen.”

But it hasn’t been all action films, I took my two young nieces, Nya and Poppy, to the cinema to watch Frozen.  They loved it! I loved it! In fact, they loved it so much, my eldest niece insisted I take her to watch it again the next day, so I did!  Their obsession hasn’t stopped there, I found myself in the shops buying them the Elsa and Anna dolls… and of course Olaf the Snowman too!

TV-wise, I was completely engrossed by the fantastic programmes broadcasted by the BBC.  I thoroughly enjoyed The Great Train Robbery, I found it both fascinating and thrilling and Death Comes to Pemberley was equally as entertaining and brimming with suspense, intrigue, romance and drama.  Well done BBC!

2014 looks sets to provide even more fantastic movies and TV programmes too.  I am looking forward to spending even more hours captivated by the world of movie magic and TV heaven.  I hope you will all be joining me on the adventures!

I hope the New Year brings you lots of love, health and happiness – and a bucketful of movies too of course!

With love,

Lisa-Marie.
