The first full trailer for David Fincher’s ‘GONE GIRL’ starring Ben Affleck has been released.

Affleck has taken on the role of Nick Dunne, a man accused of murdering his wife Amy (Rosamund Pike), in this adaptation of the best-selling book by Gillian Flynn.

For those who are a fan of the novel, do not despair, Fincher’s adaptation appears to be faithful to the original version in the story.

This new trailer takes a more in-depth look at Neil Patrick Harris  as Desi Collings, Amy’s mysterious ex-boyfriend, as well as Tyler Perry as lawyer, Tanner Bolt.

Interestingly, there is still one person who is yet to crop up in the trailers and that is the new ‘it model’ Emily Ratajkowski  who is appearing in her first movie as Andie Hardy.

Despite sticking to the story, David Fincher, who is an expert at turning books into films after the US version of ‘The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo’, has a surprise up his sleeve for the audience – he is rumoured to have worked with Flynn to rewrite the ending of the story.  Just how much of a twist will there be?

The film hits cinemas on 3rd October, 2014.
