On Wednesday evening, GAME OF THRONES actor Kit Harington was on Jimmy Kimmel Live! and aside from being on guest duties, he was also handed the job of judge…

Jon Snow is moody and broody in the popular HBO show (with good reason!) and his dramatic eyebrow lifts and grumbled responses have become as famous as the man playing the character.  “You know nothing Jon Snow” may be the case for the Lord Commander, but Kit Harington does know a thing or two about good impersonations of the character that gave him his big break and he had the perfect chance to see some scarily realistic impersonators as they read lines from cereal boxes, estate agent listings and shampoo bottles. Watch the hilarious video above.

The impersonations came from far and wide. The first impersonator, Scheiffer from Wales, gets into character by reading the ingredients of Frosties. “Did you know every Kellogg’s Frosties Flakes starts as a grain of corn – grown in a farmer’s field where it’s nice and sunny?” he intones. He saves his most intense reading for the climax: “May contain traces of peanut.”

Then we skip across the pond to Charlie from Sherman Oaks, California as he gives an intense description of a local property, detailing the “open floor plan” and “backyard perfect for bird-watching – and watching the squirrels play.” (Harington commends him for his strong eyebrow game.)

Also Steve from Ottawa closes out the line-up by reading a bottle of Pantene. “Did you know that protein loss makes hair vulnerable to damage?” he asks, making an innocent query sound like an ominous threat.

Kit Harington

Despite attending numerous press events for his movie TESTAMENT OF YOUTH which has been released in the States, Harington was of course questioned about GAME OF THRONES and reflected on that intense battle scene with the White Walkers, after Kimmel discussed in our opinion the best episode of the season so far. The British actor explained that the 20-minute sequence was filmed “over 25 days,” comparing the exhausting shoot to one of his recent film roles, which took one day less. Harington also notes about how scary it is to eat lunch across from one of the monstrous humanoids. “They’re not CGI or anything,” he says. “As you see them on the show is as they are on set.”
