We are seriously impressed with the trailer for Rupert Goold’s new film, TRUE STORY, starring James Franco and Jonah Hill.Â
Being Goold’s first feature film, TRUE STORY, is based on real events and tells the tale of disgraced New York Times reporter, Michael Finkel (Hill), once he becomes strangely involved with Christian Longo (Franco), an FBI Most Wanted murderer who, for years, used to live outside the U.S under Finkel’s name.Â
It’s incredibly strange to see Franco and Hill in a scenario where they’re not bouncing off each other in a comedic sense, but that seems to just add to the more sinister theme. Despite them seeming out of character, we already known that both actors have experience in dramatic role, always coming out on tops.Â
Also starring Felicity Jones, Ethan Suplee, Gretchen Mol and Robert John Burke, TRUE STORY premieres at Sundance Film Festival and open in cinemas April, 2017.Â
