As the release of JOHN WICK: CHAPTER 2 rolls ever closer, the lovely folks at Warner Bros. are teasing us with what is to come after releasing the first clip from the upcoming movie starring Keanu Reeves. Check out the super footage in the video player above.Â
In the clip entitled ‘Again So Soon’, we see John Wick (Keanu Reeves) and his dog returning to the continental hotel ready for round 2 – and we are more than ready for it too!
JOHN WICK: CHAPTER 2 features Keanu Reeves reprising the title and director Chad Stahelski returning to helm. Common is joining the franchise as the sequel’s chief antagonist.
John Wick screenwriter Derek Kolstad is also returning for the sequel, which will be released through Lionsgate’s Summit Entertainment and will be produced by Thunder Road’s Basil Iwanyk. Iwanyk also produced the first film.
In this next chapter following the 2014 hit, legendary hitman John Wick [Keanu Reeves] is forced back out of retirement by a former associate plotting to seize control of a shadowy international assassins’ guild. Bound by a blood oath to help him, John travels to Rome where he squares off against some of the world’s deadliest killers.
Produced on a modest $20 million budget, JOHN WICK earned more than $78 million at the worldwide box office and also became a hit in the home video market.
