The Guernsey Literary And Potato Peel Pie Society

STUDIOCANAL has released the first official photography from the big-screen adaptation of THE GUERNSEY LITERARY AND POTATO PEEL PIE SOCIETY, as principal photography wraps on the British production of Mary Ann Shaffer and Annie Barrows’ best-selling novel.

The two images feature the film’s lead actors Lily James (Cinderella, War & Peace) and Michiel Huisman (The Age of Adeline, Game of Thrones).

  1. Spectacular cast. I can definitely see these actors in their respective roles. Especially love Jessica as Elizabeth and Michiel as Dawsey, two critical roles. I hope the movie does this wonderful book justice. It’s such a interesting and original story. I look forward to seeing it with my book club and friends.

  2. The moment I finished reading the novel, I hoped it would be made into a film. I was hoping Richard Armitage would play Dawsey but I’m glad I’ll finally see the story come to life. If they manage to bring out its delights, I’ll be very happy!

  3. Loved the book, looking forward to the movie. Was lucky to watch some scenes being filmed while in Clovely!
