It won’t be long until we see Oscar Isaac and Domhnall Gleeson on screen together in STAR WARS: EPISODE 7, but first we witness them share the screen in EX MACHINA.
The film comes from screenwriter Alex Garland (28 DAYS LATER, DREDD), who makes his directorial debut here. Slowly but surely, more footage is being drip-fed from the film. Back in October we brought we you news of the official trailer for the film and today the first clip from EX MACHINA has been released and it gives us a real eye-opener into what to expect from the movie.
The movie follows a young coder, Caleb (Domhnall Gleeson), a 24-year-old coder at the world’s largest internet company, wins a competition to spend a week at a private mountain retreat belonging to Nathan (Oscar Isaac), the reclusive CEO of the company. But when Caleb arrives at the remote location he finds that he will have to participate in a strange and fascinating experiment in which he must interact with the world’s first true artificial intelligence, housed in the body of a beautiful robot girl (Alicia Vikander).
