On Monday, Film and TV Now were invited to chat to the director of the super, upcoming DreamWorks Animation movie, THE BOSS BABY.  Believe us when we say the film is bags of fun, so we were very excited to meet Tom McGrath, the man who helmed the movie and find out more about the unusual baby that you can’t help but like.

During the interview, the prolific director, who has helmed the MADAGASCAR movies and is also the voice of Skipper discussed how the most important aspect of the film is how it deals with family and it is a movie that will leave you with a happy feeling and definitely an appreciation of each other.

It would be hard to imagine anyone else voicing the the titular character apart from Alec Baldwin and Tom McGrath dished what it was like to work with him during the production of this movie in his interview.

Take a look at our review of The Boss Baby here

It was clear to see that THE BOSS BABY was a very passionate project for the director and a love letter to his childhood with his own brother, so it may come as no surprise to hear that a sequel for THE BOSS BABY may be on the cards…

You can see the full interview with Tom McGrath in the video player above.

The Boss Baby

DreamWorks Animation and the director of Madagascar invite you to meet a most unusual baby.  He wears a suit, speaks with the voice and wit of Alec Baldwin, and stars in the animated comedy, DreamWorks’ The Boss Baby.  The Boss Baby is a hilariously universal story about how a new baby’s arrival impacts a family, told from the point of view of a delightfully unreliable narrator, a wildly imaginative 7 year old named Tim.  With a sly, heart-filled message about the importance of family, DreamWorks’ The Boss Baby is an authentic and broadly appealing original comedy for all ages.
