On Wednesday evening, Leicester Square was lit up for the UK premiere of Dracula Untold. Amongst the attendees were Luke Evans, Sarah Gadon, Charles Dance, Diarmaid Murtagh, Gary Shore (director) and Alissa Phillps (producer).

The whole cast were on top form eager to talk all things Dracula despite still feeling tired from their premiere stint the previous night in Dublin.  All of the cast spent a lot of time with their excited fans and were great signing autographs and having ‘selfies’ with them all.

Gary Shore Film and TV Now
Director Gary Shore was very interesting to chat to and a real down-to-earth guy.

From the event it was lovely to see how humble the director Gary Shore was. He genuinely seemed surprised to hear such positive praise about his film and is looking forward to a rest when all of the promotions have finished.

Sarah Gadon Film and TV Now
Sarah Gadon lit up the red carpet at the premiere of Dracula Untold.

Sarah Gadon was such a happy delight on the red carpet and oozed old-school Hollywood glamour. We can honestly say we haven’t seen a celebrity smile that much whilst talking to the media for a long time! With many films in the pipeline, we’re looking forward to seeing more of Sarah on the red carpet.

Luke Evans Film and TV Now
Luke Evans was generous with his time with the fans and the media.

Then there was the main man himself – Dracula – played by Luke Evans. With all the pressure of carrying the film dumped firmly on his shoulders, the actor is still taking it all in his stride and despite being slightly weary from the many press junkets he has attended across Europe, it was great to see how much time he spent with his fans – and also with the media. What a nice chap!

Charles Dance Film and TV Now
Charles Dance has a great sense of humour and was a delight to chat to.

Charles Dance. What else can we say? He was definitely the comical entertainment of the night and he had us in giggles! The quick-witted gent is hoping for a sequel – and so are we! Here’s our review to prove it.

Don’t just take our word for it, take a look at the video of the entertaining and lovely bunch from Wednesday night’s premiere:

Dracula Untold is released in UK cinemas on October 3rd and in the US on October 10th.
