At the 60th London Evening Standard Theatre Awards in London on Sunday night, Tom Hiddleston and Gillian Anderson came up trumps after winning the award for Best Actor and Actress.

The ceremony was held at the London Palladium and was presented by comedian’s Steve Coogan and Rob Brydon, which celebrates the achievements of British theatre.

The event was attended by a star studded guest list including the named winners above and Benedict Cumberbatch, Eddie Redmayne, Sienna Miller, James McAvoy, David and Victoria Beckham, Damian Lewis and Dame Helen Mirren to name but a few of the attendees at the glittering awards.

Hiddleston, who has been very busy of late shooting numerous films including CRIMSON PEAK, HIGH RISE and I SAW THE LIGHT, was honoured with an award for his role in CORIOLANUS, which was presented to the actor by Dame Helen Mirren.
