Doctor Strange
Will Rachel McAdams star opposite Benedict Cumberbatch in DOCTOR STRANGE?

The cast of DOCTOR STRANGE is continuing to grow, as Rachel McAdams confirms rumours of her involvement.

The actress spoke to The Los Angeles Times and revealed she IS being considered for the female lead in DOCTOR STRANGE.

“It’s still super-early days,” she said, “and I don’t know where that’s gonna go, if it’s gonna go anywhere at all.”

“I don’t have much to say about it right now,” she told Den of Geek. “There’s not really anything to comment on. But, if there is, I’ll let you know.”

Rumours first escalated about her possible involvement with the upcoming DOCTOR STRANGE earlier this month when gossip circulated that she would be cast as the female lead opposite Benedict Cumberbatch.

Despite her confirming that there is some truth to the rumours, but it is still not clear as to whether Rachel McAdams will definitely land the leading role or if the character will be from the comic books.

DOCTOR STRANGE HEADS lands in cinemas October 28th, 2016.
