Doctor Strange European Premiere

On Monday night, the DOCTOR STRANGE European Premiere hit Westminster Abbey in London and despite the cold weather, many turned up for the event.

Following a fan screening at Leicester Square, Doctor Strange himself, Benedict Cumberbatch made a mad dash across the capital in time for the red carpet event alongside many of the cast and crew members.

In attendance to spend time with the fans and the world’s media was the director Scott Derrickson, alongside Cumberbatch, Rachel McAdams, Mads Mikkelsen, Scott Adkins, Tilda Swinton and many more.

DOCTOR STRANGE stars Benedict Cumberbatch as the Sorcerer Supreme along with Chiwetel Ejiofor (12 Years a Slave) as Baron Mordo, Benedict Wong as Wong, with Tilda Swinton (Only Lovers Left Alive) as The Ancient One and Mads Mikkelsen (“Hannibal”) as the villain Kaecilius. Rachel McAdams (The Vow), Michael Stuhlbarg (Pawn Sacrifice), Scott Adkins (The Bourne Ultimatum), and Amy Landecker (“Transparent”) also star.

The film is directed by Scott Derrickson (The Exorcism of Emily Rose, Deliver Us From Evil) from a script by Jon Spaihts (Prometheus, Passengers) and C. Robert Cargill (Sinister).

Marvel’s Doctor Strange follows the story of the talented neurosurgeon Doctor Stephen Strange who, after a tragic car accident, must put ego aside and learn the secrets of a hidden world of mysticism and alternate dimensions. Based in New York City’s Greenwich Village, Doctor Strange must act as an intermediary between the real world and what lies beyond, utilizing a vast array of metaphysical abilities and artifacts to protect the Marvel cinematic universe.

DOCTOR STRANGE arrives in cinemas on Friday, November 4th, 2016.
