Good news Marvel fans, CAPTAIN AMERICA: CIVIL WAR has found its villain in Daniel Brühl.
The Spanish born actor has starred in such hits as RUSH, INGLORIOUS BASTERDS AND GOODBYE LENIN!, and now tackles his latest role in Anthony Russo‘s CAPTAIN AMERICA: WINTER SOLDIER.
The third installment in Captain America’s standalone films will show Captain America, played by Chris Evans and Iron man, played by Robert Downey Jr, in the centre of conflict, as the idea of Superhero’s being ‘tagged’ and made known to the public rips through their worlds.
Alongside Chadwick Boseman as Black Panther, Brühl joins the cast in this installment and rumour has it, he’ll be playing the major villain of the film.
In a statement which accompanied the announcement, studio president Kevin Feige said; “With Daniel’s ability to deliver intense, nuanced performances, we knew we had found yet another great actor to share the screen with some of our biggest heroes”.
Despite no other details being released, this is pretty exciting news!
