X-MEN: APOCALYPSEÂ are looking to introduce some younger versions of their well-loved characters and rumour has it Chloe Grace Moretz is down to play a young Jean Grey.Â
According to The Wrap, Miss Moretz is the studio’s pick for the famous female X-Men. With big roles in movies like KICK ASS, LET ME IN and HUGO, we can totally see her taking on this role.
Other young starlets in talks for the part are Elle Fanning (MALEFICENT) and Hailee Steinfeld (TRUE GRIT).Â
Moretz and Fanning have reportedly already met with director Brian Singer and whoever gets the part will most likely be involved in a long line of future movies.
As well as Jean Grey, Scott Summers Aka Cyclops, will be getting a younger version also. Apparently young talent like Ben Hardy (EASTENDERS), Charlie Rowe (NEVER LET ME GO) and Timothee Chalamet (INTERSTELLAR).Â
Exciting stuff! Nothing like a bit of young talent being injected into a well loved franchise.
Directed by Singer, and co-starring James McAvoy, Michael Fassbender and Jennifer Lawrence, X-Men: Apocalypse will open in the UK on 19 May 2016.
