Channing Tatum

We’ve seen him as a street dancer, a soldier, a male stripper and an under cover agent – but now, it looks as if we’ll be witnessing for the first time, Channing Tatum the director.

Starring in films like DEAR JOHN, 21 JUMP STREET, G.I. JOE, WHIT HOUSE DOWN, MAGIC MIKE and his latest movie, FOXCATCHER, Tatum is one of Hollywood’s most popular leading men, as we’ve seen him progress between brilliant dramatic actor to hilarious comedic, character artist.

Now it looks as if Tatum is going to give directing a go with book adaptation, Forgive Me Leonard Peacock. Written by Matthew Quick, who brought us the brilliant SILVER LININGS PLAYBOOK, FORGIVE ME LEONARD PEACOCK tells the dark story of a troubled teenager who plans to kill both himself and his best friend.

Tatum is set to co-direct the feature with his MAGIC MIKE writer and production partner, Reid Carolin. As well as that, Tatum may play a part in the film itself also…

This could be a brilliant move for Tatum as he’s raining well deserved, positive feedback for his latest work. With some big movies coming up also (HAIL, CAESAR!, GAMBIT), Tatum is definitely man of the hour.
