The fifth fully-animated feature-film from Illumination (DESPICABLE ME, HOP and the upcoming MINIONS), THE SECRET LIFE OF PETS is a comedy about the lives our pets lead after we leave for work or school each day.
Whether you are a fan of fluffy cats, gorgeous dogs, adorable budgies or just animals in general, there is no denying that this film has definitely got the ‘Awwwww Factor’.
After watching the trailer, we can see why this film looks set to be a hit with children and big children of the adult variety too.
Comedy superstars Louis C.K., Eric Stonestreet and Kevin Hart make their animated feature-film debuts in THE SECRET LIFE OF PETS, which co-stars Ellie Kemper, Lake Bell, Jenny Slate, Bobby Moynihan, Hannibal Buress and Albert Brooks.
Illumination founder and CEO Chris Meledandri and his longtime collaborator Janet Healy produce the film, which is directed by Chris Renaud (DESPICABLE ME, DESPICABLE ME 2), co-directed by Yarrow Cheney and written by Brian Lynch and Cinco Paul & Ken Daurio.
Animal lovers, comedy lovers and fans of animations will no doubt flock to see this film when it is released. We do have a while to wait yet though unfortunately, as it doesn’t land on the big screens until next summer!
