Movies come, movies go… That has certainly be the case over the last few days.
We know that STAR WARS: EPISODE VIII has been moved back to December 2017, and now Paramount Pictures has revealed the release date for the BAYWATCH film – May 19, 2017 and the eagled eyes readers might notice here that this was initially the date for the followup film to 2015’s TERMINATOR GENISYS. Does that mean another installment is off the cards? Who knows, but as it stands, it’s not part of Paramount’s current schedule.
In the upcoming BAYWATCH movie, there are some very well known faces including Dwayne Johnson, Zac Efron, Alexandra Daddario, Kelly Rohrbach and Ilfenesh Hadera, who are all on board to star in the big-screen version of the popular television series. The original Baywatch cast included David Hasselhoff, Parker Stevenson, Shawn Weatherly, Billy Warlock, Erika Eleniak, Peter Phelps, Brandon Call and Holly Gagnier.
The screenplay is being penned by FRIDAY THE 13TH pair Damian Shannon and Mark Swift.
HORRIBLE BOSSES and IDENTITY THIEF director Seth Gordon is calling the shots on the new BAYWATCH film, which is being produced by Dwayne Johnson alongside Michael Berk, Greg Bonann, Beau Flynn, Dany Garcia, Ivan Reitman and Douglas Schwartz.
