We are counting down the hours until the very best of the silver screen will be walking down the red carpet in London’s Covent Garden, ready for the EE British Academy Film Awards 2014 (BAFTA Awards), which is being held at the Royal Opera House.

BAFTA’s Film and Television Awards are not broadcast live, so depending on whether you want to be among the first to know the winners or you’d rather watch the television show unspoiled, the official BAFTA twitter feed will be live tweeting all the very best news and award outcomes from the event and will put the latest information up on their website, with the ceremony starting at 7pm local time.

Not to worry though, as the ceremony will be broadcast on BBC One at 9pm providing two hours of footage from the very best moments from the awards.  If red carpeting watching, celebrity spotting and drooling over fashion is your thing, you will also be able to watch all of the action from the red carpet on E! Channel from 5:15pm (local time) hosted by Dermot O’Leary and Fearne Cotton and there will also be coverage on BBC 3 from 8:30pm (local time).

No doubt, host, Stephen Fry, will be dressed to the nines when returning onto the stage once again for the ninth time and Tinie Tempah will be opening up the awards ceremony alongside Laura Mvula performing the song ‘Heroes’.

Don’t forget to comment below on your predictions for the big night.  Who will be scooping the awards in this ceremony?
