Staff prepare seating arrangements with Heads on Sticks ahead of the BAFTA Television Awards

The 2015 BAFTA TV Awards are almost upon us and many special guests have been invited to the prestigious ceremony including Christopher Eccleston and James Corden.

The glitzy bash is fast-approaching with casts for the likes of PEAKY BLINDERS, EASTENDERS, SHERLOCK and many more all hoping for success.

Last year, BROADCHURCH, Olivia Coleman and Ant & Dec were the big winners, but who will dominate this year?

BBC dramas LINE OF DUTY, HAPPY VALLEY and THE MISSING lead the nominations for this year’s BAFTA TV Awards.

The ceremony will be hosted by Graham Norton will host the ceremony from London on Sunday (May 10), with coverage airing on BBC One from 8pm.

If the bookmakers are to be believed, three of this year’s four Best Sctor nominees may as well watch the ceremony from their sofas: Benedict Cumberbatch, odds on across the board, is the overwhelming favourite.

Also in attendance are the Leading Actress nominees Sarah Lancashire, Keeley Hawes and Sheridan Smith will be in attendance, as will GAME OF THRONES’ Maisie Williams, Leigh Francis and DOWNTON ABBEY’s Hugh Bonneville.

Of course there is space for a lot more guests to fill the room, including: Adeel Akhtar, Alex Jones, Amanda Abbington, Anna Friel, Ant & Dec, Archie Panjabi, Brendan O’Carroll, Camilla Batmanghelidjh, Catherine Tate, Chris O’Dowd, Charlie Brooker, Christopher Eccleston, Claudia Winkleman, Danny Dyer, David Attenborough, David Harewood, Dianna Agron, Eleanor Tomlinson, Freddie Fox, Gemma Jones, Heida Reed, Hugh Bonneville, James Corden, James Nesbitt, James Norton, Jason Isaacs, Jason Watkins, Jeff Pope, Jessica Hynes, Jessica Raine, John Bishop, Jon Snow, Judy Murray, Katie Piper, Keeley Hawes, Leigh Francis, Maisie Williams, Mary Berry, Matt Berry, Ophelia Lovibond, Russell Tovey, Sarah Lancashire, Sheridan Smith, Tamsin Greig, Tess Daly, Toby Jones, Tom Hollander, Vicky McClure and Zawe Ashton.

There will also be music performed during the ceremony by Sigma and Labrinth will perform ‘Higher‘ on television for the first time at the ceremony.

This year’s ceremony will take place on Sunday 10 May, and it will be showned live on BBC One at 8pm.
