The wait is finally over, Marvel fans! The highly-hyped, hugely anticipated, long-awaited (you get the idea!) AVENGERS: INFINITY WAR trailer has finally stormed in! Check out the footage in the video player above.

An unprecedented cinematic journey ten years in the making and spanning the entire Marvel Cinematic Universe, Marvel Studios’ Avengers: Infinity War brings to the screen the ultimate, deadliest showdown of all time. The Avengers and their Super Hero allies must be willing to sacrifice all in an attempt to defeat the powerful Thanos before his blitz of devastation and ruin puts an end to the universe.
The trailer certainly delivers as it gives us our first look at the extended team, with heroes from GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY and SPIDER-MAN (Tom Holland), BLACK PANTHER (Chadwick Boseman) and DOCTOR STRANGE (Benedict Cumberbatch).
The film has been directed by Joe and Anthony Russo, the duo responsible for the Captain America sequels THE WINTER SOLDIER and CIVIL WAR. The pair will also direct the as-yet-untitled fourth film in the series, due in 2019.
Marvel Fan favourites are back in action in the superhero sequel AVENGERS: INFINITY WAR with Robert Downey Jr., Chris Evans, Mark Ruffalo, Scarlett Johansson, Chris Hemsworth, Tom Hiddleston, Anthony Mackie, Paul Bettany, Elizabeth Olsen, Jeremy Renner, Chadwick Boseman, Sebastian Stan, Don Cheadle, Chris Pratt, Dave Bautista, Zoe Saldana, Pom Klementieff, Benedict Cumberbatch, Benedict Wong, Sean Gunn, Tom Holland, Paul Rudd back on the big screen.
Our heroes are aiming to thwart supervillain Thanos (played by Josh Brolin) in his quest to claim the Infinity Stones.
