Will the release date of Avengers: Age of Ultron be affected due to the bad weather?

Rain, rain go away, come back on another day.  Never have these words been uttered so much as during the last week as storms, hurricane wind speeds and torrential, heavy rain have lashed away at the UK.

The unforgiving weather has even affected Shepperton Studios in Surrey where pre-production of Marvel Studios’ AVENGERS: AGE OF ULTRON has been delayed due to significant flooding within the surrounding area.

Joss Whedon will be once again directing the next instalment in the popular series, with Robert Downey Jr, Chris Hemsworth, Chris Evans, Scarlett Johansson and Mark Ruffalo reprising their roles alongside James Spader, who will play the role of Ultron.

According to The Sun newspaper, Paul Bettany (who has been recently casted as The Vision) and the remainder of the film’s cast were on course to arrive in Surrey for costume fittings, camera tests and other technicalities, but with the bad weather ravishing the UK, it seems there may be even further delays.

Due to the flooding, is it likely that filming will be delayed to the point where the planned released date of May 2015 is also put back?  We hope not, but that may be a possibility.
