The wait is finally over! The BBC has released the first trailer for Red Nose Day Actually, seeing Andrew Lincoln back in the role of Mark. Take a look at the footage in the video player above. Aww, the feels!

Andrew Lincoln, who is so well known these days as THE WALKING DEAD’s Rick Grimes has returned once again for the LOVE ACTUALLY 10-minute sequel – along with his infamous cards of course – and we certainly can’t wait to watch it!

Joining Lincoln in the sequel are original cast members Rowan Atkinson, Marcus Brigstocke, Thomas Brodie-Sangster, Keir Charles, Chiwetel Ejiofor, Colin Firth, Hugh Grant, Keira Knightley, Andrew Lincoln, Martine McCutcheon, Lucia Moniz, Kate Moss, Liam Neeson, Bill Nighy and Olivia Olson. LOVE ACTUALLY 2 will be broadcast during Red Nose Day programming on 24 March.

Love Actually

Unfortunately though, not all of the familiar faces will be returning as Emma Thompson recently confirmed that she isn’t going to be in the LOVE ACTUALLY sequel not because of scheduling conflicts, but simply because it wouldn’t be right given Alan Rickman‘s passing last year.

Writer-director Richard Curtis deliberated about whether to involve Karen in the screenplay without Harry, but decided it would not work – and we can completely understand why. considered writing a narrative for Karen without Harry, but ultimately decided against it.

Remember, you can watch LOVE ACTUALLY 2 on Red Nose Day on 24 March on BBC One.
