Sony Pictures has released a brand new trailer and poster for the upcoming movie, ALL THE MONEY IN THE WORLD. Take a look at the footage in the video player above and the poster below.
The film boasts a superb cast with Michelle Williams, Christopher Plummer, Mark Wahlberg, Romain Duris, Charlie Plummer and Timothy Hutton.
This movie is sure to draw in the crowds with the great Ridley Scott in the director’s chair for this one.Â
ALL THE MONEY IN THE WORLD follows the kidnapping of 16-year-old John Paul Getty III (Charlie Plummer) and the desperate attempt by his devoted mother Gail (Michelle Williams) to convince his billionaire grandfather (Christopher Plummer) to pay the ransom.
When Getty Sr. refuses, Gail attempts to sway him as her son’s captors become increasingly volatile and brutal. With her son’s life in the balance, Gail and Getty’s advisor (Mark Wahlberg) become unlikely allies in the race against time that ultimately reveals the true and lasting value of love over money.
The film is inspired by true events. Some scenes, characters and dialogue have been fictionalized for dramatic purposes.
We don’t have too long to wait for this film to hit the big screen as it is scheduled for release on January 5th, 2018. That’s our New Year movie sorted then!
