Michael Fassbender, James Franco, Katherine Waterson and more star in the first clip from Alien: Covenant

Twentieth Century Fox has released a first clip from the upcoming movie, ALIEN: COVENANT, which you can take a look at in the video player above.
The clip, entitled ‘The Last Supper’ weighs in at 4-minutes-36-seconds and it is a great indicator of what we can expect from the upcoming movie and the camaraderie between the characters. We already ‘met the crew‘ in the recent release of a new image and now we get to see them in jolly spirits, which we suspect may prove to be the calm before the storm in their colonisation mission.Â
Back in the director’s chair to call the shots once more is Ridley Scott with the new chapter from his groundbreaking ALIEN franchise. His latest offering is the sequel to 2012’s ALIEN prequel PROMETHEUS. Scott is bringing to life a screenplay by Jack Paglen (Transcendence) and Michael Green (Green Lantern).
In the latest movie, we see the crew of the colony ship Covenant, bound for a remote planet on the far side of the galaxy. Upon their arrival, they soon realise that the place is not a newly discovered paradise, but a dark, dangerous world. When they uncover a threat beyond their imagination, they must attempt a harrowing escape.
