Another day and another trailer has been released and this time it is a new preview for Ryan Reynolds’ THE VOICES.
The black comedy is definitely not your average trailer. The film tells the story of a serial killer who follows instructions from a talking cat called Mr. Whiskers. If that isn’t quite enough chat for you, there’s more… there’s also a talking dog, an Elvis impersonator, oh and the small matter of Gemma Arterton’s head in a fridge. Yep, that is all completely normal…
In the film, we see Reynolds playing a warehouse worker called Jerry Hickfang, who is a nice, normal guy – until he listens to . Mr. Whiskers. With his furry friend on hand, the man finally plucks up the courage to ask out his crush in accounting (Anna Kendrick) and more craziness of course ensues…Â
Jacki Weaver takes on the unenviable task of playing his shrink and Marje Satrapi is the person responsible for bringing Michael R. Perry‘s script to the big screen.
THE VOICES  was well received at the Sundance Film Festival last year and it is due to hits UK screens on March 20th.
